We have certainly enjoyed being home this week.
Ken might have had to make a day trip to San Antonio today.
And before you ask—no. San Antonio is not really close enough to qualify as a reasonable day trip. 😂 So I respect the crap out of him for being able to get up, drive there, do what he needed to do, and drive all the way back home in the same day.
While he was gone, I deep-cleaned the kitchen and made him a nice big pot of chili.
Because I feel like fall is the perfect time for chili.
Is it fall weather outside?
Nope.
But we aren't discussing that.
We will turn down the A/C, snuggle up under a blanket, eat our chili, and pretend Texas understands what season it is.
Because it is FALL, dammit. 🍂😂
Sometimes you don't wait for the weather.
You just lower the thermostat and force the season.
