Complimentary stays, products, press access, sponsorships, and other material relationships will be identified in the relevant episode, article, or post. Payment does not purchase a positive opinion.

Cases and commentary

Detours may discuss allegations, court records, reporting, and our own analysis. Those categories are labeled separately. Nothing we publish should be read as legal advice or as a declaration of guilt beyond a court's finding.
